MESH SIZE
Below is a list of the mesh sizes we offer, and the bird sizes they keep out. If you do not know about the sizes of birds in your location, it’s safer to go for the smallest mesh size. The smallest mesh size is guaranteed to keep birds of all sizes away.
¾” MESH
This is the smallest mesh size we offer, and also the most popular. Its popularity is partly because it keeps all sizes and species of birds away. It’s particularly effective against small-sized birds like sparrows.
1 1/8” MESH
This size is large enough to allow little birds like sparrows to pass through, but can easily keep bigger birds like starlings away. Generally, it’s good for protecting your crops from medium size birds.
2” MESH
This is the largest mesh size we offer. It will allow smaller birds and some medium-sized ones to pass through. However, it is effective against big birds like hawks and kites.
